Dangit!
Okay people (Skip),
How does this work?
I mean, I realize that on any given page, (Spoiler alert! SPOILER ALERT!---sorry, I've always wanted to "say" that) whatever answer you come up with has the same symbol, but what's the math behind it?

I think that the only possible answers to the equation, no matter which numbers you start with, are 81,72,63,58,54,51,45,43,36,27,18,9 or 0. These numbers will always share the same symbols, so the game will always pick the correct one.
In your face, GRE math test!
mary, there's a large hole in your head. i can see what your thinking.

Funny you should say that. Check out the latest post....
There are only nine numbers on that chart that can result from that equation. 9, 18, 27 etc (powers of nine).
Each time the chart refreshes the symbols are somewhat randomized, but the same symbol shows on the key entries.
I believe magicians call this a "force", as in, they know your card is a 9 of clubs because you were unknowingly "forced" to pick the 9 of clubs.
Oh, and magicians are gay.
i think it has something to do with math.
